Remote Photoshoots
You may be hearing more about these and wondering how they work or maybe you’re already doing remote photoshoots and looking for a model who can has the equipment and is set up for it! Well you’ve come to the right place…
To book just drop me a message @jadelyon on Instagram, Purpleport or use the contact page.
It’s easier than you might think! All you need is…
A computer and a zoom account! That’s it!
How it works…
I will message you via how you made contact with me whether it’s Instagram or Purpleport with a link to the zoom meeting just before our scheduled time and date.
With a video call it’s as close as we can get to being in person.
You’re still able to direct me and ask me to position the camera where you want it as well.
EOS Utility- this is the software I use on my computer to connect my Canon camera to my computer.
Using Screen Share and Remote Access via zoom you will be able to change the settings of the camera via EOS Utility.
See the video below. It’s so much easier than it sounds!
I will have the camera set up roughly so we’re in a good place to start and you can adjust it to your style from there.
After the photoshoot I will send you a link to download the RAW files.
My Equipment:
Canon EOS R
40mm, 50mm, 85mm
Reflectors
LED Panel
Studio lighting if requested
Top Tips
Create a mood board
If you let me know some ideas that you would like to try whether it’s visually with a mood board or just message me with your ideas. This helps to create some unique images.
Take a look at some photos of my home to give you an idea of what your working with:
Home Photoshoot Rooms
I have a white fabric netting canopy over a bed. This is great to play around with for portraits.
Fairy lights for some bokeh!
Direct me as much as possible!
I have been modelling for a long time and will happily start posing away however it’s a little trickier for me for remote photoshoots as I’m having to move the camera, myself and the set around me. Therefore it’s really helpful to keep an eye out for details I might miss. Is there something in background that shouldn’t be?
Feel free to make suggestions as well. If we’re playing with fabric or fairy lights and you have an idea let me know!
Communication is really important to get the best out of the session and create photos unique to you and your ideas/ style.
Watch a little behind the scenes video to give you an idea…
Themes
These two themes are just £30ph.
I recommend 2 hours+ as it’s a bit slower pace than a normal shoot. This also allows for changes and there are more ideas to cover than you might think!
New! Remote Flower Milk Bath Shoots
This theme is £120 for 2x 40 minutes sets, which includes lots of flowers for two different looks.
These will be two different sets with different colour schemes with 2 different outfits.
We start with the camera on the tripod and then my partner who is a photographer, Raj K Photo, will be assisting to get some birds eye view over the bath shots.
For the lighting we will be using speedlights but we can set it up so it’s all ready to go and you just adjust your exposure
accordingly so it’s very simple.
Soft Sundays
This is the theme you see most of my photo examples from.
This can be arranged on any day! Not just a Sunday of course!

Bedsheet Backdrops
I hang bedsheets which I currently have in grey or navy over a backdrop stand. I leave the drapey for some texture and detail.
This set can be for portraits, wider shots of me sitting in front of the fabric and bringing in props such as a wooden posing box.

I have a yellow backdrop as well to get some colourful funky photos.
