The idea of doing a milk bath shoot developed with the purpose of it being for maternity shoots. I'm really pleased that I had Natalia along for a shoot. Natalia had never had a professional photoshoot but was such a natural in front of the camera! She had a doctors appointment after our shoot and 3 days after she was off to have her c- section. What a mum! I can now say she has another beautiful baby girl!
At the beginning of a session for the milk bath shoot we start with some simple outside portraits. For some people the idea of having a photoshoot alone can make them feel nervous but getting in a bath for a photoshoot can seem like a strange idea at first! By starting with some portraits we can get to know each other, I can direct you and get you feeling comfortable in front of the camera so you can feel confident when it comes to the bath shoot.
The bath shoot itself is quite relaxing as it's in lovely warm water with the scent of the flowers in the air.
I have tested it myself! As they say don't ask someone to do something unless you've had a go. I will share photos of that once I have received them. I have discovered some good tips and tricks along the way that I will share with you on your session.

Fancy a milk bath shoot?
It's great for a maternity shoot! A unique and beautiful way to show your baby bump.
Of course it doesn't have to be a maternity shoot. You can see in the milk bath gallery for other examples and ideas to have a very unique shoot for yourself.
There are more options with this type of shoot than you might think! You could try lots of ideas such as fresh flowers, zesty lemons and mint, lots of fabric, floaty dresses or get creative with make up looks (a make up artist can be booked just enquire for this).
