Samantha & Omar’s Autumn Photo Session

Autumn is a beautiful time for a photoshoot. We often still have lovely weather at this time of year and it’s such a colourful season for photos. This beautiful tree-lined lane near Buckingham is my favourite location for autumn sessions.

They were all dressed in lovely autumnal colours which really adds to the photos!

We start with some simple walking and talking photos so it doesn’t feel too posed at first and gets everyone into the swing of it. By moving around it makes everyone feel relaxed and less nervous about being in front of the camera.

Then we get everyone sitting in the autumn leaves on a picnic blanket. You can’t quite see it but the kids are sitting on an old-fashioned wooden sled which is a lovely rustic prop for family photo sessions.

Tree Lined Lane

I like to mix it up between natural photos as well as some more posed ones to get the best of both worlds! By getting them to have a walk it creates movement, energy, and often some laughs!
