A Couples Photoshoot in the Flower Fields
My photography is very nature based in beautiful locations and I love nothing more than a flower field. Natasha and Dene are based down South and suggested this location for their couples photo session and I’m so glad they did! We were lucky to catch the last of the blooming flowers before the end of the year. What a beautiful place!
Naturals!
Natasha and Dene haven’t had many professional photoshoots together but they were such naturals!
At this location there was a cafe so we started with a drink and had a talk through ideas first and had a walk through the flowers fields to find some lovely areas to start photographying.
I gave them posing directions to start with and then they natural chatted and laughed together so all I had to do was capture those moment when they were messing about as well as the posed ones.
It helped that they were very relaxed together and easily intereacted with each other and didn’t take things to seriously which makes for great photos. You know it’s a good couples photo session when there’s lots of silly outtakes! The really ridiculous outtakes are for their eyes only though!
We were super lucky to get a golden hour!
We had beautiful evening sunshine to capture some lovely glowy golden images with the sunflowers behind.
Individual Portraits
If you’re having a couples photoshoot why not get some individual portraits whilst you can as well! It’s a great opportunity to have some photos of yourself because your partner can be with me next to the camera to keep you entertained and laughing!
I offer direction and demonstrate my posing ideas so you can copy me. It’s often easier to watch me do the pose rather than trying to explain it. I think Natasha did a fantastic job with posing!
It was a lovely afternoon at a beautiful location surrounded by flowers and the sunshine even came out for us! What more could we ask for!
